Words of Purpose

Ten of Cups Farm is first and foremost, a home. A home to a family woven together by love, fate, conflict, devotion, joy, and an enduring thirst for liberation. A family who chose one another despite all that would separate them, lifted one another out of the poisonous fogs and gripping cogs of normalcy and continue to choose one another day after day, way after way. Ten of Cups Farm is an uninvited guest on the harmed and healing, magical and wild lands of the Taytnapam people. This sacred valley cradles us in our quest for belonging, our earthliness, our imperfection, and our growth. Ten of Cups Farm is a haven. A refuge that calls to and embraces those among us who seek enduring truth and travel the path of connection – to self, to others, to spirit and to purpose. Ten of Cups Farm offers opportunities for those who are called to seek and receive solace, rest, invigoration, collaboration, mentorship, inspiration, care, challenge, and reverence through our FRIENDS program – Fellowship in Radical Interdependent Exchange using Non-Dominant Systems. We create this space as a loving labor of true mutuality, and do so outside the confines of governance and non-profit industrial complexities in order to preserve what freedom we have from the rigid fist of funders who would squeeze the breath and possibility from our dreams and offerings. Ten of Cups Farm is a cocoon. A container crafted from the silks of our struggles and pleasures to wrap each of us in the just right protection and comfort to allow us to deform, to become the goo of our essence, and to seek the next and new form that will express our most beautiful and powerful selves. Ten of Cups Farm is a dream made manifest. A seed watered and fed by our visions and worldly works that is bearing fruit beyond our imaginings.Ten of Cups Farm is.
